Muscles involved in cable exercises include core muscles, back, arms, hips, and legs, helping to improve weaknesses and increase the strength of the back, legs, and arms muscles.
To achieve full results, it’s crucial to commit to training movements meticulously throughout the training period, typically consisting of 4-5 sets and 12-15 repetitions. Below are some exercises that can be performed using the cable machine:
1) Squat Press with Cable: In this exercise, you perform a squat while using the cable machine, with your feet shoulder-width apart. Raise and lower your arms with each repetition.
2) Half Kneeling Cable Rows: Kneel on one knee, with a towel or mat under the elbow. Grip the cable end and pull it towards your face until your arm is straight, then repeat multiple times.
3) Half Kneeling Cable Press: With the cable pulley at hip level, kneel on your left knee and stabilize your foot on the ground. Ensure your leg aligns straight with your right thigh, then repeat on the other side. This exercise is effective for muscle stability and balance.
4) Squat Press with Cable at Chest Level: Squat while pulling the cable towards your chest. Handle the cable pulley with both hands, extend your arms, and stabilize in this position for 5-10 seconds before repeating multiple times. This exercise strengthens gluteal muscles and knee tendons.
